What We Do

NeuroKind is a neuro-affirming project for neurodivergent adults across Dudley and Sandwell, including people who are diagnosed, undiagnosed, questioning, or self-identifying.

We create welcoming spaces where people can explore identity, build confidence, reduce isolation, and access practical support. Our approach is strengths-based, person-centred and shaped by people with lived experience.

We offer:

  • 1:1 navigation, advocacy and information, advice and guidance
  • Peer-led, co-produced group activities
  • Support to access health, wellbeing, benefits and diagnostic pathways
  • Creative, social and confidence-building opportunities
  • Community awareness work to reduce stigma and improve understanding

How we can support you

We can help you make sense of your experiences, understand your needs and take positive next steps at your own pace.

Support may include help to:

  • Build confidence, independence and self-advocacy skills
  • Access services, appointments or reasonable adjustments
  • Understand neurodivergence and co-occurring needs such as anxiety or trauma
  • Connect with others in safe, inclusive peer spaces
  • Develop practical tools for wellbeing, communication and everyday life

You do not need a formal diagnosis to access NeuroKind. If you are neurodivergent, questioning, or feel that mainstream support has not worked for you, we can work with you to find support that feels relevant, respectful and accessible.
