Are you 16+ years and experiencing barriers to employment due to health conditions or disabilities?

WorkWell is a new initiative designed to make early support to thousands of people across the Black Country with health conditions or disabilities, helping them overcome barriers to find or keep employment and improve their wellbeing. WorkWell is led by Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and funded by the UK Government.

There are currently 13 contracted partners on WorkWell in the Black Country who will collaborate to deliver the project across the borough. Partners are made up of a variety of sectors including local authorities, voluntary sector providers and charities each bringing unique strengths and experience to enhance the support available through WorkWell. The Black Country is one of just 15 places around the country chosen as a pilot area to deliver the WorkWell scheme.

The partnership is made up of: Access to Business, Base 25, Beacon Centre for the Blind, Dudley Council, Ideal for All, Just Straight Talk, Manor Farm Community Association, Murray Hall Community Trust, Refugee and Migrant Centre, Sandwell Consortium CIC, Sandwell Council, Top Church Training and Walsall Works.

At JST, the WorkWell programme will aim to provide early interventions for those facing barriers to employment because of health challenges, offering personalised support through our team of trained Work and Health Coaches. These coaches will assist you in developing tailored plans to achieve your employment goals, whilst leveraging the collective expertise of partner organisations.
