Yours Truly supports carers in Dudley to identifying suitable formal and informal interests, together with helping them in accessing these interests. The benefits and differences experienced by carers would be, increased social skills, improvement in health and well-being, increased skill set and feeling of self-worth, a reduction in isolation, increased sense of purpose.
Wider Determinants of Health (WDH) Dudley, Sandwell & Walsall
We are supporting to address inequality for people across Dudley, Sandwell, and Walsall with physical or mental health conditions. Using a raft of partners and community connections along with other JST projects to increase peoples' well-being and enhance their life chances and opportunities.
Young Peoples Alliance
Young Peoples Alliance is dedicated to offering comprehensive assistance to young individuals aged 16-25 in Dudley, with a particular emphasis on sustaining and improving their living conditions, managing bills, and providing aid and guidance in navigating complex forms and situations.
Multiply
Multiply will support the governments levelling up mission to ensure that by 2030 the number of people successfully completing high quality skills training will have increased significantly.In Jan 2022 JST will begin delivering Multiply to employed people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis whilst increasing the levels of functional numeracy.
Digi Dudley
Digi-Dudley has supported hundreds of older people in Dudley aged 65 to connect to the outside world and reduce isolation. The project provides them by with the tools and confidence to reduce isolation, improving social connections, the IT equipment, accessing practical resources online and accessing the wide variety of sources of entertainment that are available to people.
Platform
Are you over 18 living in Dudley & Sandwell? Would you like to gain information, advice and guidance in your community to support your well-being and future life goals. If so, Platform is for you!!! Group sessions include Craft, Music, Creative Writing, Job and Digital Skills and stresses, worry & anxiety groups amongst others. Group sessions change every 6-8 weeks. Funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
UK - CAN
JST is well aware of the affects that the conflict and subsequent fleeing of the war is having on Ukrainian women, children and young girls. Individuals have literally upped and left their homes, husbands and sons. They had with no option but to leave behind good jobs and careers and have been relocated to the UK within towns and areas completely alien to them and have no sense of their surroundings.
Walsall Bridges UKSPF
We are now pleased to be able to say that our services are extending into Walsall to deliver the UKSPF project. JST will offer and provide a package of bespoke and intensive 1-1 and group activity interventions with partner agencies to ensure that economically inactive people in Walsall aged 16+ are given the greatest opportunity to increase their life chances and achieve their potential.
